Violence Against Women and Girls: Who's Responsibility Is It?
Violence against women and girls remains one of the most pressing issues facing our communities, affecting lives, families and future generations. Yet too often the responsibility for addressing it falls solely on those most impacted. This thought-provoking event challenges that narrative.

Healthy Relationships Workshops
Delivered by Cheshire Police Challenging the narrative around relationships with young people - Closed Sessions
Through Her Lens @ Storyhouse
Through Her Lens is a powerful, immersive exhibition created by women with lived experience of stalking and harassment. Using photography, participants from Tomorrow's Women captured their personal experiences, offering a raw insight into the fear, isolation, and impact of being watched, followed, and controlled. Through striking imagery, sound, lighting and video, the exhibition challenged perceptions, sparked important conversations, and highlighted the urgent need for women to feel safer in everyday life.
Storyhouse is open from 8am to 11pm every day from Monday to Saturday, and from 9:30am to 11pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Behind Closed Doors @ Eastgate Shopping Centre
Domestic abuse is often invisible and occurs long before we see the warning signs or someone reaches out for help. This exhibition aims to challenge stereotypes and breakdown the stigma of what domestic abuse looks like Behind Closed Doors.
Working with the women of Tomorrow’s Women, we have created an exhibition, which is powerful and thought provoking and gives insight into the lived experiences of domestic abuse within the home.
The intention of this exhibition was to highlight the ongoing and long lasting effects of domestic abuse on a persons, physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing and how this impact goes unnoticed, all too often.
We invite you to come and experience the profound impact of this installation, to look beyond the familiar surrounds of a home and to reflect on what for many people is a place of fear, uncertainty and pain.
We would like this exhibition to begin a conversation that extends far beyond the 16 days of activism, because for people living with domestic abuse, there are no 16 days, this is their reality.Monday-Saturday. 9-5:30pm
Sunday 11-5pm
Ask For Angela Show
7:30pm-8:30pm
Garrett Theatre Storyhouse
Pay What You Can
The Totally Visible Theatre Company offer extracts from their new play Ask for Angela which explores the urgent issue of violence against women and girls. Rizla, Mel and Queen work in a bit of a dive bar and they’re not too happy about the way things are going. Kitty believes in the stars, but the planets aren’t aligned for her. Queen is trying to bring up her boys to love and respect but the world has other ideas. When violence shatters their world, they are forced to face up to the dangerous reality of the manosphere. With strong female characters, fast-paced dialogue peppered with warmth and humanity despite the difficulties of this topical issue, this really is a must-see. This session will include a Q and A to further explore questions raised by the play.

Through Her Lens @ StoryhouseThrough Her Lens is a powerful, immersive exhibition created by women with lived experience of stalking and harassment.

Safety Bus
‘Safe space’ safety vehicles, branded as Safety Buses, patrol city and town centres where there are high levels of night life. They are clearly visible and provide a safe space for vulnerable people. The vehicles have on-board safety equipment such as defibrillators, first aid kits, phone chargers and bottles of water. They are staffed by police officers and community safety specialists from partner agencies who are on hand to ensure that anyone in need of help is cared for until they are able to get home safely.
