Specialist Support
Domestic abuse
We have on-site trained IDVAs (Independent Domestic Violence Advocates) who are on hand to provide support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. IDVAs will be able to complete Safety Plans in order to ensure your safety, and DASH forms if you are experiencing an abusive relationship as well as completing Duty to Refer for emergency accommodation.
You will be able to seek free legal advice from a solicitor as well as attend one of our Police drop-ins.
We run a regular in-house course, Finding Me which explores healthy and unhealthy characteristics, traits and behaviours within relationships as well as identifying areas of abuse. We also offer an online version of this course to carry out at home.
Sexual Violence
We have trained ISVAs (Independent Sexual Violence Advocates) who are on hand to provide support following sexual abuse.
The ISVA will support you in reporting the incident to the Police (should you wish to do so) as well as make a SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre) appointment.
We have on-site early evidence kits as well as STI testing kits. The ISVA can also complete a referral to specialist partner services who can provide specific support to survivors of sexual violence.
If you or someone you know needs specialist support, visit one of our centres Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM or get in touch
Stalking & Harassment Advocates
We have on-site trained Stalking & Harassment Advocates who can provide support with stalking and harassment.
They can advocate on your behalf, supporting you to report incidents to the police, as well as filling out a SASH (Screening Assessment for Stalking & Harassment) form.
They also lead regular information sharing groups to ensure your safety, and can provide you with safety measures for your peace of mind.
