Tomorrow's Women proudly celebrated an incredible milestone, marking 15 years of supporting women, changing lives, and building stronger communities across Wirral and Chester.

Over two special days, we welcomed partners, professionals, supporters and, most importantly, the women who are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we reflected on our journey, celebrated our achievements, and looked ahead to the future.

Partners and Professionals Day: Celebrating 15 Years of Impact

On Thursday 24th September, we opened our doors to the many organisations, professionals, advocates and supporters who have worked alongside us throughout the last 15 years.

The morning provided an opportunity to celebrate the power of partnership and collective action. Through an engaging panel discussion and interactive breakout sessions, guests reflected on the evolution of Tomorrow's Women, explored the changing needs of women and girls in our communities, and shared ideas for how we can continue to grow our impact in the years ahead.

One of the most powerful moments of the day came from Lisa, a woman who has accessed support through Tomorrow's Women. Sharing her personal story with honesty, courage and reflection, Lisa moved everyone in the room. Her journey highlighted the life-changing impact that early intervention, tailored support and a compassionate community can have. Her words were a reminder of why Tomorrow's Women exists and why our work remains as important today as it was 15 years ago.

Throughout the day, there was a strong sense of pride in what has been achieved through partnership. From statutory services and commissioned partners to local charities and community organisations, the event celebrated the collective commitment that has helped thousands of women access the support they need to thrive.

A Celebration for the Women We Empower

The celebrations continued on Friday 25th September with a very special Lunch Club ‘Extravaganza’ dedicated to the women who make Tomorrow's Women the vibrant, welcoming community it is today.

The centre was filled with laughter, music and joy as women came together to celebrate 15 years of friendship, support and empowerment.

Guests were treated to fantastic live entertainment from the talented Helen Delamere, whose music had everyone singing along and joining in the celebrations. The afternoon also featured a moving poetry reading from Bev Montague Clark, whose words captured the strength, resilience and spirit that can be found throughout the Tomorrow's Women community.

The fun continued with stand-up bingo, plenty of prizes, and a lively karaoke session that saw women taking to the microphone and embracing the celebratory atmosphere. It was an afternoon full of smiles, confidence, connection and unforgettable memories.

Opening Doors to Support, Opportunity and Community in Chester

On Friday 25th September, we held our open day event at Tomorrow's Women Chester. The Open Day gave professionals and new referrals the chance to come and look at our centre and learn about the services we offer.

We talked about what courses we offer across Tomorrow's Women and how they are delivered. Empowerment Advisors delivered taster sessions of the courses we run at Tomorrow's Women, including; Finding Me, Money and Me, Better Solutions, and Red to Pink. The sessions gave individuals the chance to see our interventions in actions and get a snippet of the amazing content delivered in our courses.

The afternoon consisted of celebrations for the 15 years of Tomorrow's Women. All of our attendees came together in friendship and joy, sharing cake and other refreshments to honour 15 years of service at Tomorrow's Women. The afternoon was a chance to highlight some of our milestones as a charity. The day ended with a raffle with some amazing prizes up for grabs, where some lucky ladies walked away with some beauty products, brand new Revlon hair straighteners, and a slow cooker. It was a great afternoon to showcase all our amazing work at Tomorrow's Women, and to welcome some new faces through the door.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate this significant milestone, we do so with immense gratitude to every woman, volunteer, staff member, trustee, partner and supporter who has been part of our journey.

Over the last 15 years, Tomorrow's Women has supported thousands of women to overcome challenges, build confidence, improve wellbeing and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. These celebrations were not only an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, but also a chance to reaffirm our commitment to the women and communities we serve.

The last 15 years have shown what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. We are excited for the next chapter and look forward to continuing to empower women, strengthen communities and create lasting change for many years to come.
